Eating disorders affect 10% of the population. That is one out of ten people.
If you have twenty students in your class, that means that two students could have an eating disorder.

EDs are addictions, the same as drugs and alcohol. The difference is that you need food to survive and you can't abstain from it totally.

By doing this webquest, students are becoming aware of one of the addictions that can affect their friends, family, or themselves. Making the PSA is one way to help spread the word about eating disorders and their destruction.
